Recovering from a stroke
Recovery from a stroke is all about enabling stroke survivors and their carers to live a full life, as well as reducing
the risk of survivors having another stroke. It is about physical and mental health, as well as about survivors being able to reach their potential to work, socialise and participate in their communities.
The Bay wide stroke prevention programme seeks to support stroke survivors through partnership working across
the Bay, across one NHS, voluntary groups and charities so that stroke survivors and their carers get the help and care they need.
